Sirius Sat (non integrated) install?

Sirius Sat (non integrated) install?
Has anyone used the modular Sirius (or XM for that matter) sat in their 6th gen? I just ordered one (free offer) and I am trying to figure out where I want to put it.
I don't have pre-wiring for sat in my car (April 2003) so I figured I would go this direction, plus I want to use it at home and in my wifes car.
Any help would be great, I would love to hear where anyone has mounted it. This one is the free one that Stern was giving out, AudioVox version
Thanks
Grant

Howard Stern gave away 20,000 free sirius radio certificates, all with the same code, not 100% free of course, you have to pay for a year subscription, but the hardware is free. I ordered mine with the free car kit
If you want yours do this
1. certificate must be redeemed by Nov. 24, 2004
2. You must order your Sirus system on the intranet at sirius.com/offer/sternrally
3. Enter promo code 263
4. Select your SIRUS system and purchase an annual subscription of $142.45
5. When prompted enter certificate number HS7436 in "Refferal ID" field.
Enjoy

This was my solution to no pre-wire and XM install - Roady in the back console and control it with a remote from the front - rarely change the channel - antenna on the back deck similar to Carcus - works GREAT and installed in about 10 minutes.

I have mine in the center console as well. My antenna is on the rear deck. I snaked the wire down the passenger side of the back seat, under the door, and then under the front passenger seat (the carpet is velcroed down so you can just run the wire under their). The wire from the antenna goes into the console where the passenger seat is touching it. No one ever knows I have satellite when they get in the car. They always ask, "What station is that you are listening to?" Then I have to explain the whole FM modulation thing. The only beef I have is that the hardware runs very hot to the touch. Other than that, it is great.
