Rearview mirrors w/ turn signal?

I really like the side rearview mirrors with the turn signal. Just kinda upset Nissan didnt put it on the Max like Acura did for the TL. Anybody know if its possible to get something custom fit for the 6th gen Max?

I know it might not be the best kit our there, but I have seen some on eBay for the 6th gen... there have been discussion about this in the past where others have mentioned this. They had offered red or blue, but I think only blue were available at the time... just a bit too 'ricey' for me.

IMO the aftermarket ones look rice. The blue aftermarket ones look TWICE as bad...

I really like these (off a Ford Expedition). Is it possible to put LED's in the mirrors or find a mirror to work with??

Someone on the 5th gen board made some, to me they are just a pretty thing, I think our big tail lights get the job done just fine. I have even seen some people replace their rear window brake light with one that flashes when you brake.

Now, if you want to try something different for an idea......illuminated door sills are nice. Have never seen them on a 6th gen, but Mercedes and BMW had some nice ones.

Check the 5th gen forums, someone had done this mod to the mirrors.

Do the covers on the front of the mirror pop off like an Altima's?

I like the one with the lights on the other side of the mirror. Not the LED on the mirror. Like on the Mercedes. I was hoping the 05 would have it but it didn't. Maybe next year.

Same here. That's why I asked if the front covers pop off like an Altima's. Maybe I can make these for the Maxima like I do for the Altima.

I know this is an old thread and an old discussion, but I didn't know if any one on this Org. knows about the LED mirror covers for the 6th Generation Maximas.
This is the link for the information. I recently ordered a pair and they look great.

I think JSmith used the 09-10 Max mirrors with LED and they worked fine with a little customization... I would ask him... they look really nice and I plan on doing the same thing. I'll be buying the actual OEM mirrors from Ebay... they are like 113 a piece.

After looking at the pics, my opinion is that they're ugly. No, I don't have a better solution, but I'm just sayin'. What modifications need to be done to the 7th gen mirrors to make them work?

I think mine look just like factory. I don't know what you think they should look like?

Well then I guess I don't like the factor ones. If you like them fine, I was just giving my opinion. Maybe they look different in person, but from the pics, the lights look huge. And I just don't like them.

Yes Officer, you certainly are entitled to your opinion as we all are. lol

I have heard others say the led's look too big, but for me they work and I really do like them.
Some of the members on the my6thgen .org have actually tinted the lenses and that seems to have made a difference in their opinions.

Anyway,each to his own.
Thanks for your opinion.

If you do find something to your liking please let me know. I would love to see it.
