well i havent driven it in the snow but my car grips the road awesome. highway off ramps can easily be taken at 60 with no tire squeel or sliding. tell you the truth ive tried really hard to get my car to slide out on me and it just cant do it on dry pavement. but in the rain, every time i come to a stop i have to very carefully pull out of else i get no traction. but the car does feel very sturdy at speed in the wet, and i do alot of highway driving so thats at like 80-85. i havent had any problems or concerns with them. its also my 3rd car ive had that came with RSA tires

I was surprised of the traction in the snow. It wasn't great last week when it snowed, but it wasn't too bad either. Better than the Bridestone Potenzas that i had on my 2003 Max.

I hate the RSAs, loud, ride rough, and the traction is horrible. They are on there last life though. Ive put about 35,000 miles on em so I cant say that traction would be good at this point. Wasnt great when they were new either. Once they get low on tread, you cant drive in the rain safely.

I think the Contis that came on my Spec V would be a great tire for the Maxi. Im not thrilled with the RSA's. Look at the tread pattern. Its just a typical all season radial.

I have few complaints with the tires. They are better than most OEM tires i have had on past cars. I would be cautious though because there is a bad batch of rsa's out there. Read the thread that Rsa's check inside. If you are really concerned about snow driving in them get a set of snow tires and some cheap steel rims for the winter months.

Mine have been fine for the last 20k miles. They're fine in snow, nothing to write home about for the good or the bad. They're pretty good in dry conditions - I can push the car quite a bit with no slipping. Taking off from a standstill in rain takes a little work, but I think that's as much the FWD as anything else.

They're definitely better than most stock tires, though that's not saying much.

I'd give them a solid 7.5 out of 10. I'm certainly not unhappy with them, and I can't justify buying better tires until these ones wear out.
