Humming issues in wheel wells??

Well had my factory tires rotated and now I can hear an annoying droning type hum coming from the passenger wheel well? Any ideas folks?

i don't know if this is the same noise but i hear a hum with light rattling occasionally when i give it gas. i think its coming from the engine area, could be the wheels.

Is the hum the only problem? How did they rotate the tires. You don't need to cross rotate, just front<->back. They may have cross rotated the tire and now the tires are running backwards. Just a thought. Other than that if you have other issues on top of the hum you may need to balance the tires. Check them for cracks too on the inside sidewall.

Does it happen at about 2K RPM? If so, it could be a lose heat shield rattling... myself and others have had this issue, and shouldn't take but a few moments at the dealer.

I just took my OEM RSA`s off for the winter and they were humming like crazy. They had been rotated and actually got noisier. They are scalloped like hell, with flat spots and generally uneven wear.

The alignment is fine and the new Cooper snows are great with less noise than the Goodyears, when they were new.
