04max Viper 791xv Help
04max Viper 791xv Help
hey i was wondering if any of you are familiar with the viper 791xv, and its accessory sensor the invisibeam field disturbance sensor???? I have an 04 max with this sensor locaded in the center console. i am trying to adjust it to fit my liking and I am sort of confused. There are 2 screwes on the unit (side by side) and to the left of them there is an arrow pointing in a curving motion saying sensitivity adjust.
what i was wondering is what does each screw (the left one and right one) control before i touch it???
ALSO, is there any particular way the sensor has to be mounted in my center console (facing upward downward etc.)??? or can it be just resting in a spot free to flop around?
THANKS FOR YOUR HELP GUYS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!!

Since this alarm is the same as the Clifford Matrix RS3.5 which I have and in another recent thread, Maximaman2oo4 said he has the field disturbance sensor you might ask him:

well it has been a long day and it is very late!!!Sorry I didn't even read who started the thread? When you said Viper, it threw me off!!! I'm going to bed now!!!
You probably the two zone sensor (DEI 508D). The first adjustment or the left one, if you are looking at the top of it, is to set the outer limit of both zones. Adjust this first so that you can define the outer zone boundary. The second adjustment or the right one, is to define the inner field. The outer field should give you a warning and the inner field will trigger instantly, depending on how you have it installed.
I think that should answer your question. If you need anything else feel free to ask.
