I just took the car somewhere to get it installed... didn't wanna mess with it and break something.

Anybody that I've heard of has had them installed professionally, AFAIK.

I went to 212 Motoring on Neptune. They were expensive but they're pros, so I didn't have to worry about them breaking anything...

I had the gauges done and hardwire the radar detector and something else... don't remember now even though that was just a couple of months ago... Bill came up to $150 IIRC. Steep, but you can pay somebody $20 and hope that they don't break your needles, or you can take it to a pro and have no worries... your call.

You can see my installation near the bottom of this page... http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....0&page=2&pp=30 night pictures and all are still in there too.

Email or call them up and find out what they'll charge... their info is on their website (http://212motoring.com/).

As always, your mileage may vary... they're pros with pro pricing and might quote you higher than they did me -- reason why I'm looking elsewhere for electrical/AV work... pro shops are just expensive period, and they have expensive people there because they deal with high-end cars. My Maxima was by far the cheapest car in their lot when I went there... at least half as expensive as anything else they were working on. Until another 6th gen showed up...
