What's the tire pressure for 20 x 8.5 wheel with 255/35/20 tires?

What's the tire pressure for 20"+ rims? These aftermarket wheels and tires do not come with specs on pressure. Tirerack says overinflation is good for track running, but with the bumps in nyc, it is throwing off the alignment.

I use 32-35 PSI on my 20" rims. That should be good for you. With 20" rims in NYC.....a few PSI will not make much of a difference if you hit that pot hole "just right".....if you know what I mean. Still, keep them no lower than 32 PSI. With lower profile tires, takes a bit more pressure checking than stock.....especially in winter when you tend to lose a bit of pressure as the norm. Hope this helps.

And as far as overinflation for track running.....that ruins traction.....plus, if you run 20" or higher rims.....running the track is kinda pointless in my opinion. Better off running 17" rims or lighter weight rims.

I agree with carcus that 20" rims are for 'show', not 'go'.

I had 34 and then 32 psi. Both times, I felt every single bump in the road. It made the shimmy more noticeable. What about 31? Is this considered underinflated??
