1) I was told that it won't void any warranty unless they can prove that the intake caused whatever problem you might be having. (does void the air intake warranty, because you removed it, I suppose)
2) Bryan from Berk installed mine and it appears to be pretty simple. There are other people on the org that have installed it themsleves, anyone? The kit does come with instructions, as Bryan used my car for the manual.
3)There was a poll done on this site and the Berk intake won that, Berk makes a good product for a good price, I ould recommend it for sure. Although I personally don't have any prior experience with other intakes in the past.
4) I've had no problems, but I live in Cali so...

It makes the Max sound a bit more aggressive that's for sure!!!

i got the stillen intake with berk mid-pipe. it sounds mean when you're in higher rpm but can't tell if i gained some hp. i guess you can't really tell unless you dyno it before and after the install.

My GF got me the BERk for Xmas i think it sounds great and definately added a bit more zip to the low end. I feel less hesitation and overall i like it. Mabye i feel that way because it sounds so cool. I definately like berk only complaint is i think the whole thing whould be chrome. Sounds mean look cool definately worth the money.

it's an easy install...you will need a 10MM socket wrench and a flat head screw driver to do the job. it will take between13-45 min to do.
