Will Nissan build custom colro combos?

I don't see any reason why they wouldn't. You'll probably have to put down a sizeable deposit on it however.

 

that may not be possible... the custom ordering program will not allow you do that...

Maybe you can ask your dealer to install aftermarket black leather seats, than getting black leather directly from nissan

 

I agree with SilverMax04 - I don't think one can order a combination that is not already officially offered.

But many dealers have folks who can do a fine job of re-upholstering your seats. And that would be much faster than special ordering and waiting for a few months, only to find a mistake was made and your new Maxima does not include exactly the options you requested.

well I tried your site, and there are even fewer choices, only frost leather. Wow, my same Max where you live is $10k more. I know we have price differences but that is crazy.

Have you seen a pearl/black Max? I thought the customability was even less up there?

 

Why not, 4th and 5th gens come in that color configuration from nissan, why not the 6th?

 

You can't, and Nissan is foolish in this case. I've owned 2 previous White Nissan's. My 99' pearl GLE was SWEET with the black interior. In 2001, I was forced to get the tan leather, and while it's nice, it isn't what i prefer.

If you're in sales like me, you're always taking notes in your car. Ink on black is far less visible than ink on tan. Nissan should understand this.

 

Buy one with black interior and have it painted....

 

Well only the 00/01's did the 5.5 Gens didnot come with white on black. Nissan stopped that popular comboa as well as Acura with the the TL.

 

I agree that 10K Canadian Dollars seems like a lot. But let's do the math. Assume the Canadian price for the Max you want is $45,000. When we use the current exchange rate of about 1.235 Canadian Dollars = $1.00 (American) the US dollar price for this car would be about $36,400. Might be worth considering.

They just posted a new exchange rate of 1.2479 to $1.00 on 2/4. On that basis, $45,000 Canadian is only $36,000. About 2 months earlier (around Thanksgiving) it was 1.33 to the US Dollar, so that $45,000 Canadian would have been about $33,800 US.

I can't speak for the other problems you might have trying to liscense a car built for Canada in the US. Just don't know.

 

yeah the Acura TL isnt offered in white/blk either.....i dont undertsand why?

i want a white max with blak leather! ahhhhhhhhh!

 

one of my reasons for not getting white. couldnt get black interior.

hopefully nissan will put that choice options in future models.
