There is an owners manual in your glove box for a reason. If its too much trouble to read it, its time to take your car to a professional for an oil change.

If you haven't had the common sense (which is apparantly not all that common these days) to look around the inside of your own car yet...its time to RTFM.

In general its ok to ask quesions. When you are to lazy to read the owners manual or just spend a few minutes looking around the inside of your own car, you are going to have people rippin on you.

On the out chance your used 2k4 did not come with an owner’s manual...

4.5 quarts.

One 12v outlet on the right side of the center console behind a little door where you would never think to look and one in the bottom of the center arm rest compartment under the lift out tray... where you would never think to look.

In addition, before you have to ask, the lock mechanism for the fold down rear seats is under a little door on the rear package shelf. It looks like a fourth child seat ***her attachment point.

Who wants to speculate as to why t e t would be in our word filter?

I have the manual for my 2005, my idiot cousin lost his from his 2004. He wants to me help him with change the oil. Before I possibly messed up, I asked here.

the dip strick on the maxima is a pain in the ***. Im used to german cars. even took me awhile to figure out how to openm the hood when that little leaver that VW and mercedes uses did not pop out.

okay, but do you realize the 04 and 05 are the same? at least pertaining to your questions. u have 3 outlets he has just the 2 and not the one by the stick.

same engine, same oil change procedure. calls for 4 quarts 1 cup = 4.25 quarts. now it depends on how well ou drain the old oil. I find myself adding and extra cup to get the right level. so 4.5 like bluemaxx said.

and yes the dipstick has been a PITA since at least the 5th gen.

btw, if you would of looked, give your cousin this:
