Do you use your manumatic??

I just posted below that I'm frustrated with the wait for a 6sp manual. I'm wondering if you automatic tranny owners use the manumatic feature? I drive a lot with my sales job, and in many ways an automatic tranny makes more sense for me. Still, I love to redline.

Do you like the manumatic feature? Do you think it puts undue wear on the engine? Will it put a smile on my face on freeway onramps like a 6-sp will?

Thanks guys!

its alright. i barely use mine. its good for passing. you wont redline it since the computer automatically shifts for you at a certian rpm. the car alone will put that smile on your face on the onramps even if you just leave it in D

yes I use it, it goes up there on the rpms. I don't think it redlines cause it shifts before it gets to hit it. but you get responce with it. its much quicker because of the high revs vs the regular drive. its sweet when you are at 4000 rpms and you step on it, much stronger pull...... its cool to use..

I use it when I need to pass someone that is ticking me off. Just so they can see the blur go by and let them think "wtf was that?!?!" I also use it for slowing down for the local pd if I'm speeding sometimes

Don't use it often... Ok when you are looking for some spirited driving.

I use mine often to slow down or do a fast pass on the highway. I drove my friends G35 the other day. That tiptronic allows you to shift up when ever you want to. It's a lot nicer than the maxima tiptronic.
