Piia Extreme Whites

This one has pretty decent prices and a good selection of PIAA fogs, I wish someone would get the Plasma spark for $100/pair, they are supposed to be 7500K

Ah ok i see now, the Plasma GT is low beam, and the GT-X stands for an Xtreme white high beam. I was kinda confused as to what I bought. Sparq, did you see those comparison pix i posted earlier showing the differences between the two bulbs? Is that how your car looks with them too?
BlackMax..I posted pics of the GT-Xs in my car..just for you actually

I was wondering about this when I was looking for them...and on the ones i bought at autozone, nope. They are 31mm long, thats all you need to make sure of...they are the shortest cylinder type bulb made. Just take them out and bring one into the store to compare if you need to, the socket bends a little to accomodate a thicker cylinder ( the rears are larger than the fronts, but you cans till fit them in the front) They are 10 watts each. discountleds.com has a whole selection of them, in different colors, and they have the 31mm ones needed
Chrome coated amber bulbs are in! What a frickin' pain in the butt! The fogs were in plain sight once the tank was removed..but the clearance behind and around the blinkers is a nightmare to get your hand into. That copper bracket attached to the fender and the tank was right in the way and the bolt would not turn so i bended it and then bent it back with no problems..It was a nightmare, but Im happy to report that they look awesome when the lights are on, I didnt expect them to look different when on. They glow, rather than emit light...and are a reddish orange now. Im just happy i didnt do all that to see no changes. When off they are clear fron the front, but as nismo said, a little light spills in from the side through the orange marker and casts some orange inside...but its nowhere near as orange as it was with the amber bulb in. With the HID's on they stand out more because theres no more amber light everywhere, looks very good..gonna take some pix
Just installed the foglights, H3 PIAA super plasma bulbs. I am very impressed with them, they nearly match the HID's. I was not expecting such a great look after reading what others have posted, but these bulbs look as different from the OEM fogs as the HID does. Very impressive, worth the wait for shippment. Silverstars are a complete waste of money, install PIAA super plasmas or dont even bother.
Sparq:
These actually are not the GT-X bulbs, as I believe those are designed with an Xtreme white highbeam, which is not used anyway. This *might* be the reason you were unhappy with them. The part # on the box says H-108, and as I can see from the pics you took, yours are a different model. I reccomend these bulbs if you want to match the Xenon's.

Yeah his Max is pretty clean. Thats why I really dont bother spending too much time searching for a good bulb. His PIAA SuperPlasmas look so good, matched the his HID's perfectly. When I start changing my bulbs out, thats what Ill be going for.
APC 3157 Cornering Lights
Heres the $7 pair of blue APC corners I got at advance auto. OEM is 3156 and has only one filiment, these have 2, one isnt used, but it still fits if anyone was wondering. They are blue when off, and a bluish hyperwhite on, looks nice. PIAA's are clear off and I dont like that.
Heres a pic of them off:
And on:
They arent any brighter from what I can see, Ill be able to tell when I go out driving, But they look a heluva lot nicer & match the other lights.

Elmo, compared to the other lights, not at all, it took me about 15 mins. What you want to do is when you do the driver side, cut the wheel to the extreme right, and you can more easilly bend the wheel well plastic away to get ur arm in there. 2 screws under each light come off, they are screwed into the body. After that its easy, kinda hard to turn the bulb, but the harness is at the bottom of the assembly, and once you unlock it the bulb comes right out from the bottom.
um, the PIAA Xtreme Whites are blue when off. just like the reverse ones. and they light up the'r area as bright as the HID combining perfectly. Still not sure why you're messing in the wheel well. I removed the 2 screws and got to them easily. 2 min. each bulb.
Nismo, this obviously isnt getting across well on here, but I basically took out the 2 screws, which loosened the thin plastic that surrounds the tread of the tire. I spread the front bumper away from the plastic in whe wheel well and stuck my arm through there, easilly reaching the assembly, and unscrewing the bulb from the bottom of the housing. It was the easiest way to get at the bulb I found, I didnt get at it from under the car, I got at it from behind the bumper witht he wheel cut so I could get my arm in there. It took 15 mins start to finish, so Its a useful method. I didnt go from under because even with the screws out, there was no place to put my hand. But hey liek I said, um...I bought them cuz theey were cheap and I wouldnt have to wait to have them shipped..just saying they are no good. I did the same thing with silverstars before getting super plasmas.
