Will this even fix the front gap issue?? And will it lower too much in the back, making the car still 'look' uneven (with the uneven wheel gaps)??

We wont now until someone buys em and post pics. To my knowledge there isnt a single member on here that has em. If someone is thinking about the H&Rs then I say go for it. I would bet money that they ride better than the eibachs.

I plan on doing just the fronts.......but the dealer is charging an arm and a leg! ($410) That doesn't even include the springs. LOL
There is a local wheel shop that says they'll do it for $100.

That's a ridiculous price, $200 dollar range is more like it, check with car tire and muffler places like Tires Plus, Mr Tire, Goodyear dealership, Midas car care centers, Sears service centers etc... Stealerships are for warrenty work IMO...

If you are going to install the Eibach springs you have to install all 4. Am I right chernmax? Later Warren

I agree with ramberg, if you want the ride effect of the lower and the performance, do all four, the rear is only a .08" lower and the front is the 2". I suspect if you do only 2, you will be adding to this continuing thread of Eibach Installion problems...

PS, my $200 dollar price quote range is for all 4 springs...

I had all four Eibachs put on and I have the popping noise. If H&R drops the rear 1.3 you might want to look at another brand. That's too much. You won't be able to move the car. The Eibach .08 is perfect.

According to the HR website....Front drops by 1.4" and the rear by 1.3". JayMaxx is right, that is too low.

Dealer says it is "goodyear tire syndrome"

We have had 2004 in three times for a front right rubbing sound. first diagnosis was new brakes. Second time it was the inner axle seal, and the third time they stated it was a tire problem. Even though we have Continentals. Dealer states that they let all air out of tires, reseated them, and it corrects problem resulting from bead not seating properly. The problem is still there? Please let us know what they say.

Some people have terrible problems with the RSAs developing hairline cracks. Search, and ye shall find.

I don't think you have to tell Ramberg about the Goodyear Tire issue, he has not only read it all, but experienced it TWICE!!!

Sorry to dredge up an issue from months ago but it's better than starting a new thread. I'm getting the Eibachs along with the active tuning struts and shocks. I've read about using the wire wraps to get rid of any noises that might crop up. I also see that the springs have to be properly positioned on the struts. Are there any other potential problems I should be aware of? Also, were the folks experiencing these problems using the stock struts and shocks?

People at Stillen warned me about the popping noise when I inquired about the Eibach. Kinda sucks because i'm sure the Max looks sweet lowered...

stock struts, with a lower compression spring is mostly likely coming from a bottoming out issue with the strut, or ???

Sorry to reply so late in the game but putting the rubber isolaters in place is the answer. This solved my noise problem but my front end seems to be 1/2 inch higher than without the isolaters.

Were these something you had to pick up separately?

BTW: It's nice to see another Richmonder. You're the only other 6th gen owner I've seen on the forums from here.

Anyone live in Rowland Heights area or specifically had an experience with Superior Nissan??

I own a 2005 nissan maxima se with 2000 miles. When I got the car, I replaced the springs with Eibach and put 20" wheels on it. Then now, I have a problem with some noise around the rack & pinion area (or like the popping noise that you guys are talking about). I would like to bring the car back to dealer (superior nissan, where I got the car) but I don't have the oem springs anymore. And I'm afraid if I bring it in with eibach and 20" wheels, they are going to blame the aftermarket installation, etc.

Anyone had experience with Superior Nissan and bringing their lowered car and 20" wheels? Do they give a hard time? Thanks for any advice

If you have your old wheels put them back on and drive around and see if you still have the popping noise. I have 45,000 miles on my car, have the eibachs and 18" chrome wheels and never had any noise. Warren

I took my car to Cerritos Nissan months ago to ask about the popping sound, but they also denied to look or fix because aftermarket springs were installed..
