I wouldn't even buy a car that had been smoked in; so smoking in your car decreases its value too.

I have no idea why it doesn't. It's actually pretty amazing that there isn't a notch. It's not like any 6th gen Maximas should have a difference in the notches. Weird.

Yeah, I also noticed they put the wrong motor under the hood too...theres a 5.6 liter V8 there...i think my car is seriously messed up.

Ive got 2 burns on the "suede-like" door panel on my drivers side.
I feel your pain, the wife burned it on day 5. She of course uses the window and by (my) law has to keep the windows down.. thing is, she burned it actually putting the window down ... oh well, a new door panel is in the "mod" list.

Although the true method is to quit smoking, I usually just have a smoke before or after the ride. If it's a long trip, i'll pull over after an hour or so and take 5 minutes out of my trip to have one. I still like the new-car smell and don't want to risk burning anything.

But your question was answered above. There is no ash tray, but you can buy one to fit into the cup holder. A lot of them have attached lids.

And yes, not being able to smoke in public places in GA sucks... tobacco used to be this state's cash crop. Oh well, it helps me reduce how much I smoke
