I think the same color would be hot? I mean i like the stock black but i think it would be more appealing to match it with the color. white, blue, red, wouldnt match at all. Silver would look cool maybe, but then the lettering on it is silver already right?

well ive actually found some paint that i got that with one coat is close but ive used a couple coats and it is really close to the matching color. however it is dificult to do without screwups, drips and runs and such. so it is taking me a little longer than i want it to but if i want it to look really good i guess i have to put in the time. unfortunatly i cant work on it today, ive got duty untill 2400 tonight(those of you with military experience know what im talking about). so hopefully all will be said and done by sunday maybe saturday. then, i might show you guys.

alright here are some pics. but please note that i am not done by any means. so no freaking rude remarks. if you do have an opinion or comment please feel free to let me know. im not done on the orange pieces either so take it easy. but please note the detail on the valve cover. everyone that ive shown has thought that was the way the car came so it came out really well. the pics may not do justice.

Nice job on the body-colored covers. I think it would be even better if the top of ur Street Scene grill were painted body-color too. A bold but good move would be to powercoat ur whole grill body-color. Maybe sparq can photoshop it!!

Stripes are unique but very nice. Well done!!

no. it is actually called duplicolor metalcast paint, with duplicolor ground coat. it is suposed to have an anodized look to it. but to dull the anodized look to match the car i just used multiple coats should turn out really good when done. plus it is rated at 500 degrees. not sure if i can use it on my calipers though.

Aww..u make me blush now..stop it with the compliments already!
Can u really powder-coat things in any color? For some reason I thought you can only powder-coat black?!..I'm probably wrong huh?
