Hi ,

Just ordered a CAI ( Frankencar) from the US for my bus and I wondered how loud it will be? It's going to be modified over here to an recieve external air source as under bonnet temps over here are like mega hot.

I am looking to only minimally modifing the looks on the exterior,Boot spoiler and lip spoiler , but now am starting on the motor, Cattman may even be able to supply a full set of headers and we are working out the spec's at present, as he had a Right hand drive setup in stock.

Our motors over here seem to have even more intake sound deading devices attached to the factory intake then the US model See Picture :

I know that heaps of you have changed over to various CAI and was just wondering.

The end result is I want my car to preform better and go better , but be a sleeper if you know what I mean.

 

I've got a Berk intake. You can't really hear it until you crank it. Then i howls. Much louder than stock when at full throttle.
