Painted Brake Calipers...High Gloss Black (WITH PICTURES)

I just finished painting my calipers last night. I used the High Gloss Black by G2 Manufacturing - the brush-on, not spray (I didn't want to remove my calipers from the car.). IT CAME OUT GREAT - REALLY HIGH GLOSS! If you want something suttle looking use the black. I contemplated red or blue, but I'm glad I went with the black.

My rim is not bolted up. I've got to do a few more things

I like red personally. But I considered black too. Looks good. How about some "farther away" pcitures? Did you consider the "NISSAN" logo on there? Maybe in matching silver?? Would look sharp I think. Im painting mine red with NISSAN logo this weekend.

Tek: Right on. Install ur decals and post PICS. Silver would clash with bronze rims. Here is a photoshop pic of my calipers in red.

More Pics

I took a picture a little furthur away. Like I said before, I was going for a suttle look. Only a real car enthusiast will notice it, and that is just fine with me.

I also installed a new grille yesterday - E&G. My fingers are covered with band aids.

I'm trying to decide which color to go with, Blk (added to the list) Silver or Red???
I'm leaning towards silver to match my car and not stand out too much.
Decisions decisions...

I hope so.. they are silver from factory, but it has worn off and now they have like brownish spots on them.. so I was thinking silver to retouch them and add alittle nissan flavor in there..

I tried silver...

I actually tried the silver (Just on 1 rear caliper - and black on the other). I wasn't sure which one to go with. The silver looked great, I just decided to go with black. That silver paint kit was money well spent...hmm.

I am still thinking about decals. They will definately be silver. I just can decide what to put. I don't want to put NISSAN. I'll probably get something custom-made.

Looks good. Maybe you should get drilled/sloted rotors. I haven't painted my capilers yet. Later Warren

Ramberg - I definitely want to put some new rotors. I sell CNC Milling Machines and Turning Centers my application guru made some for his car (from stock ones) (sorry no pics). I am trying to get him to hook me up.
