I know people who will get a rent-a-car for long trips so that they don't rack up miles on their personal car. When my cars had way over 100K miles and over 10 years, I too did that.

Now that I have a Maxima -- a super car for the open road -- I enjoy driving that super car over the open road. Anyway, highway miles (so long as they are not in stop-and-go traffic) are the easises miles you can put on your car. My philosophy is to enjoy driving my Max wherever I go.

It's hard when I think of the warranty period... but I know once I cross that 60K ... I'd be doing exactly what u say

Think about all of the fun you had driving those miles, and smile. Max's are a fun car to drive.

You should beat my 16 K Miles per year average. Have fun.

I would have less on it, but I drive to lots of shows and maxima meets that add about 2-300 miles round trip each time...

I really don't drive it much at all, but each mile I've driven so far have been real fun so far..

Happy B-day to your Max! LOL! You know you have to get your Max a new mod for it's birthday. Both your Max and you will feel much better and the Max will feel appreciated. HA, ha! Get a new grill or something like that if you don't have one and it will be like you just got your Max yesterday! My Max is 1 1/2 yrs old, purchased Feb. '04 and I've got 25K miles on it. I finally had to buy a hooptie, 1991 Q45 so I could drive it for business and keep the miles off my nice rides. I definitely think you should treat your Max to a new accessory, it's a good idea!! PEACE OUT

I also love driving my Max. 45,000 miles driving down to Fl. and other places. I am down here now. More miles will be put on this trip.

I wash my car every other day and wax it once a month.

I haven't seen a picture of your car so I don't know what you should get her.
Does it have mods?

I did not know it was that far from Brooklyn to Florida. Suspect you meat to say that when you get home you will have put about 4,500 miles on your Max. Hope you can get it repaired to your satisfaction (see his thread on tire tread taking out his bumper).

I'm with you Ramberg. I don't object to putting miles on my car. When my friends and I go out, I always got the wheel. I wish I was like the other guys here that keep their mileage low, but I figure might as well be and out and about before the 7th gens come out and we are no longer the latest, greatest.

If you are talking about the dyno sheets, I just spoke to my friend and he is calling up the shop to get directions. Hopefully will have it done tomorrow. Warren
