Competitors change horsepower rating

I heard that the SAE methodology changed for measuring horsepower and that it affected mostly Japanese cars so I checked out Toyota website and sure enough, Avalon has been changed from 280hp to 268hp and then I checked the Acura website and the TL has been lowered from 270 to 258. Fortunately it looks like the Maxima stayed the same at 265. I searched for the article, but I couldn't find it on the web. MAybe someone can post a link.
