Find a tech at a dealer to do it. Or find someone with a consult II. Its the only way it will happen.

I believe that the Consult II is a dealer-only tool. I don't think I've ever heard of an individual with one.

I've read about a technician or two that will do this advance. But someone like this is hard to come by apparantly.

It wasnt for me, the tech did it in about 5 minutes and didnt charge a penny. It seems to be a very simple procedure.

Man its always nice to find a dealership that will work with you, not against you. So was there any noticable gains through the finely calibrated butt dyno after the timing was advanced?

Not really, the butt dyno isnt really a good tool in noticing gains. Only thing that would prove it is on a dyno and I believe it has been dyno proven before by other .org members. Since it was free I figured it couldnt hurt.

Ask around in other Nissan forums. I know one or two of the club members on sr20forum.com has a Consult II. They would probably do the advance for you for a small fee and assuming you were willing to drive to their location.
