Question, is the grill designed? If so, post a pic, I'm thinking about change, I don't need a pic on someones ride to invision what it will look like on my ride...

I feel exactly the opposite, I can't stand billet grills. I think the AT grills just look more designed whereas billet grills all look like I could make them in my garage...again just my personal opinion.

Let's put it this way, ANYTHING looks better than the FACTORY grill which reminds me of one of those toothless hillbillys off Deliverance...

I do like the look of this new grill and would consider a change. I would definitely purchase the grill if the mesh or background on it was like Roys new grill background, VERY PHAT! Anyway, I look forward to seeing pics of the finished product and I would still consider if it comes with a nice chrome mesh..... PEACE

None. You can paint a billet grille to get similar look.

Damn man, patience is not one of your strong characteristics huh? Be glad you have a vendor willing to invest time into an "adult sedan". Most vendors only go after the huge "Honda civic" type markets. If you don't own a popular car, you're aftermarket mod selection is very limited. I've owned a '91 Nissan Sentra SE-R since new. Talk about a frustrating after market selection. My SE-R is a heavily modded track **** but it's been a difficult battle finding, modifiying and or hand making mods for it. Most vendors don't want to bother with such a cult car following. But Active Tuning does. They developed and offered parts for the SE-R when nobody else did. They've found a loyal nitch in the Nissan aftermarket world. Cudos!

Per many requests, we have created an S2/S5 Altima style grille for you 6th gen Maxima's! This is the one that will completely be rid of the "tooth". The grille will be released in January, so stay on the lookout...we're very excited about this one.

As a side-note, we need somebody with a lighter color car to help us do a test fitment on the grille in Lake Mills, WI (about 2 hours from Chicago, 30 min from Madison). The person that helps us out will recieve a FREE grille pre-painted to match their car. We will require one trip out to us (ASAP) which we will do test fitment and some pictures (Please make sure your car is washed!). Then an optional 2nd trip out to us where we will install the painted grille for you...or we can have it shipped to you. PM me if interested....we need somebody right away.

For those interested, we do have our original S4 Grille as well:

We haven't had anybody close offering to do a test fit yet

We're waiting on some delays from our fiberglass manufacturer in completing the mold.

Err... remember that they're looking for somebody in Lake Mills, WI for the test fit...

You're actually closer now being in Dallas than you would be if you were still in Norfolk.

They, ActiveTuning, should buy a Max and use it to show all of their body mods for the 6th Gen as well as any interior mods and they can then write the price of the car off as a business expense along with the mileage to car shows etc. Somebody get these guys a good accountant to help them out.

I'm no engineer, but if you keep the outer dimensions for the new S-4.1 the same as the S-4, no need for a test fit!!! Anyone have a set of engineering measurement calipers ActiveTuning can borrow?

I think we've got somebody guys! We'll find out for sure tonight when we chat. I can't wait to release this grille. Word of warning, we can only produce so many at a time, so if there is a high demand for them...especially around launch, there may be a decent wait in order to get one (at least to get you through the winter )....but we'll see how things progress. We'll do all we can to expedite everything without compromising quality!

I'm getting excited!! I hope its different from all the rest of the grilles I see riding around (trenz and Billets). I'm tempted to do the SS grille because I never see that one around here but I'll wait to see what this turns out like. If its as nice as you say, SAVE ONE FOR ME!!
