i always run mine off, because i have xenons so the xenon and the regular light from the fog look crappy together....id like to do an upgrade to xenons for the fogs though...or at least a blue'ish bulb

Well one fog burnt out the other day and then the other one right after. So with running them pretty much all the time when my lights are on they lasted just under 2 years...just thought I'd share!

Has anyone upgraded their fogs? I would like to go with something other than stock fogs. As someone else mentioned before, the color of the stock fogs doesn't look that good especially when you have HID.

I have seen a few ask this question and I am curious also. Can we make our fog lights run with only the body/marker lights on. It seems like we could tap into the body lights and run the the power into it from there like all the other maxima's. Has anyone done this yet?

J - Those yellow fogs look sweet. Is there a sticky somewhere so I can see what is required to remove light housing. I would like to do something similar with PIAA lights. Thanks

I ride with the fogs off. I can see fine with the headlights. I had to have mines checked because everybody flashes me when I am coming down the road. had to make sure they were aimed correctly.

Yeah, I normaly leave the fogs off. The only time I use them is when it is (surprise surpise) foggy out.

The cops around here like to pull you over for using fogs when it isn't foggy. I've been in front of a guy (with obnoxiously yellow fogs) when he got pulled over.

Also, I've read that using fogs + HIDs isn't very good for visibility when it isn't foggy. Something about the projectors in the HIDs through light pretty well for a long distance, and then with the fogs on your eyes adjust to the area near the front of your car, thereby negating the advantages of the projectors.

I also remember a mod that someone did at some point that allowed you to use your fogs with brights on. Kind of goes against the above theory, but interesting nonetheless.

I have HIDs and the fogs are only when the HIDs are on. Once you swith off HIDs, fogs go off too!. I drive with headlights on most of the time even during the day. I run fogs in rain, fog and when there's lots of pot holes on the dark service roads. With fogs on you can see right in front of your bumper.

How do I replace my stock fog bulbs with new bulbs? How do I get to these bulbs? What is the easiest way to replace?
