Oil catch can?

Has anyone installed an oil catch can on their 6th gen? I just purchased an 06 Altima and want to get rid of blowby before it gunks up my tb and intake manifold.

I have it on my 5.5 gen...we both have the same vq35 motor...well I know there are differences in the ecu tuning, intake manifold part #..etc...but i'm sure the blow by/ pcv system is the same....

i've had my catch can for about 5 months now...and it's collected a good amount of oil...i'd say about 1/4th a qt? well maybe thats an exaggerated #...but theres plenty of blow by on the vq35

I felt that the link I provided sufficed in answering the question, and giving instruction on how to do it to boot.

Fair enough, I did find the link you provided earlier but thought the 5.5. gen being different enough to warrant such question in the 6th gen forum.

Seeing that the current Altima and Maxima engine bays are virtually identical it does matter, Mr. Maxima owner sir.

so the altima is more like the maxima than another maxima with the same engine?? even if that link is a 3.0 the guy searched for you to show you what has already been done.

And I am grateful he did. I was familiar with that thread but was looking for 6th gen platform-specific information to see if there were any critical differences.
