New style grill??

This is my personal choice for what Nissan should do with the grill (or someone else in the aftermarket). What do you think??

I'm split on the look, I do like it better without the emblem, however I'm not a big tooth fan.

The front end is going to be stock except for the grill. I haven't decided which grill to go with. So far I'm headed towards the Stillen grill. This car would have been perfect for someone bulding a show car. It had no front end the rear bumper needs replaced, and it had no interior.

It would be cool to go all custom but unfortunately I was in the market for an inexpesive good car. I bought the wheels for it quickly because I needed to make it look better quick sitting in my driveway. Here is what I started with:

I'm considering selling the wheels and tires now though. I bought the leather interior out of a SL model, it should be by the end of next week. I'll have about $11K into the car once I'm done with it. It's got 22K miles on it now.

The grille looks better than the OEM one. That was the first thing I changed when I brought the car. I will be getting a new grille soon.

Good luck with the car.

If the bars across were solid chrome material- a simple nice looking grill is all that is needed on the Max.

Good concept, but I've noticed the majority of members here already swapped out their TEETH!

Hate the teeth!

Nothing personal, but I hate the teeth and am looking for a grille option that isn't too flashy. I finally decided to modify my Max after a year of contemplating and BS-ing! A couple of questions:

1. How long before I am able to start my own thread???? I have been a memeber for nearly a year. What gives???

2. Once I am able to post, how do I attach photos of my mods?

(sorry about the Enkei's J-Smith, but I loved that wheel too)....

Sorry for "jacking" the thread, but I had no choice!

I would not have recommended doing that, you may slide for just two post to build your count up, but some new members got banned for doing it.

OK..after a weekend of detailing, I can tell you I HATE polishing all the individual teeth I have now. I've ordered the new redline grill so soon I won't have to worry about bashing my fingers trying to get them into the tight spaces.

But I do think it looks better than stock...

Not to mention the OEM teeth are plastic...

How'd you get rid of the big tooth? I'm new to the forum and need help with a grille change. Like many of you, I don't like the big tooth and thought of changing to a billet grille. The tooth of the original grille dips slightly below the rest of the bottom edge and the billet grills I've seen have an even curve to the bottom edge; thus, when installed, leave a gap in the opening at the lower center. Anyone out there know of a good fitting, decent quality billet grille (prefer stainless but aluminium is ok)?
