sunroof won't open

So i disconnected the battery (was trying to run the power wire for my amps, but it got dark outside so i stopped) and afterwards the sunroof won't open. i can tilt the glass open, but the slider button thingy does not do anything. anyone know what's wrong? this would be my first "problem" on the new car.

that happened to me as well, after i disconnected the battery. but after a while of toggling back and forth with the switch eventually it came to. i don't know what the remedy is.

I learned that lesson also..... the re-learn procedure is in the manual. I went to the dealer and kind of looked dumb after they said how easy it was.

the relearn procedure is keep pressing the tilt button while the car is on about 5-6 times in the postion that makes it tilt (or close i actually forgot)...either way thats all you have to do.

I had my car in the shop for the power seat recall. The tech disconnected the battery while replacinf the wires in the seat. He remembered to writemdown all the presets in the radio but didn't reset the sunroof. When I tried it last Thursday the slider switch wouldn't work so I figured I'd have to take it back to the shop to get it fixed but you guys saved me a trip. It's surely is amazing what you can learn on this forum. Keep up the good work.
