EBAY, yes but be careful as far as I know all the kits out there (Metra and Scosche) were made for the '04 interior, which is the non brushed more plastic looking dash piece...

Yes but is does say "2004-Up" so it's probably the same as the '04. It looks like the Metra because the scosche has a smaller upper pocket...

I just got my kit in today and it is a different color *DAM!* Anyway, I picked it up from http://www.audiooutfitter.com for $18.00. Has anyone tried to paint these things to see if they can get a closer match?

well the dash has this zebra-ish pattern to it. IMO it'll be kinda hard to duplicate onto the aftermarket dash kit.

FYI

I have the brushed aluminum we need... I am currently working on lighted door sills for our rides... Hopefully I can have the fabrication done in the next 2 weeks and then I plan to start to tackle this din kit

Sorry, just trying to be helpful. The factory radio stinks when it comes to sound quality. Hopefully they will get it right in the 07 model but that doesn't help any of us. Its just a matter of time before I swamp mine out with a nice one like jsmithsole has.

Here is a kit from active tuning that is manufactured by a site at www.bestkits.com. You cannot buy from them directly but it looks as close to our color (brushed aluminum) as any I have seen. Here is the link to the active tuning site kit for $34.99 with shipping included

It does not match. I have the Metra installed and I had the other kit in my hand. But the Metra kit does match the plastic on the steering wheel for it does not have the brushed look nor is the color the same as the dash and doors. Gec the lighted door sills as going to be sick. Oh please hurry with the dash kit so I dont have to cut the factory one and glass where the eject button is.

I see what you mean. I wish they would come out with two kits, one should be a double din. If you get the double din radio with Nav for those who dont have Nav, you can get a custom fit double din unit that would look really good in our cars.

I want a double DIN kit so I can get a nicer radio that has NAV and it will give it the factory installed look. The double DIN Nav units look much better than the ones that are retractable/motorized and come out of the unit.
