Define "rumbling"

I definitely have never heard anything that sounds remotely like "rumbling" from the lack of grease. It was a definite "low pitch squeak" (if there is such a thing) and only when bouncing on a bump/dip.

no squeaking is like a lower pitched noise as you go over a bump kinda thing kinda rumble ... sounds like it was coming from rubbing with the tires or something .. it dont' sound to be the middle of the bar more liek the ends of it do i make sense?

Well if it wasn't doing it before the bar, and it's doing it now, then chances are it's the bar...

Who installed that for you? Did you do it yourself? If you didn't, I'd say take it back and have them do it right...

Either way, from the way that you make it sound, it definitely sounds like the brushings. I know mine were so bad at one point that you could bounce the car (open the trunk and push the back up and down ) and you could hear them. It's more like an old mattress making noises than a rumbling, but if it started with the RSB, then that's probably what it is... unless you broke something installing it

Was it installed correctly? It would almost fit up side down.

you could have it flipped up side down and it would be able to install? because my mechanic looked at it and he fliped it before he installed.

You can make it kinda fit, but it will rub big time, if not damaged.

I don't remember who it was, but someone here had it installed upside down and had creaking noise when drove home. That's why I think your's could be upside down.

but you guys' can't tell from the pic? that is correct or not?

I put mine on a few weeks ago myself. I put some grease on the bar and the rest inside the bushing. They are kinda tight. Your pics look ok.

Its such a simple installation that I suspect you just need extra grease (unless the hand brake cable is caught on the bar or the bar is backward). Could spray silicone lube on the bushing but it may dilute the grease, not sure.

I have to get under mine and check why its thumping..No squeeks just a thump and I went and tightened everything lastnight...it might be the P brake cable though
