I would slow down just so I could get enough room to go WOT.... Alot of fun.
Install was a Beyotch!!! Could you do the install in your garage? Maybe. Install time...2 days. I would recommend that anyone who wants to do this at home to put the car up on ramps and lay under the rear exhust manifold and see if you could manuever and work under there for sveral hours. I think not! Our hourly rate is 75. per hour. but we will charge 575. for the install.

One comment on the design of the headers, Hotshot has done this on their headers for the 5th Gen too, and that is to leave the O2 bungs for the primaries high up on one collector tube. This is presumably done so that minimal work is required for you to use your stock O2 sensor wiring, ie. you don't have to extend the wires or harnesses to reach the bung.
Since the primary O2s influence your AF ratio (at least in closed loop driving), I still think the bungs for the primaries should still be down where the 3 tubes meet, so that the primaries can get an AF reading from all 3 cylinders on each bank as opposed to just reading the AF from a single cylinder on each bank. I guess at WOT, it doesn't matter anyways, and I don't know how big of a deal this really is, but just thought I'd post it for discussion's sake.

More good news
, Hotshot just emailed me back stating they will now honor the Header warranty for any 6th Gen Max installing them, at first when they thought it would not fit the 6th Gen
they told Corey of RedLineMax the warranty would be void since we where going to do whatever it takes to make it fit. Since our install did not require modification of the Header all 6th Gen get the warranty like the Alti...

OK the current plan is:
Corey "Redmax of RedLineMax" is going to contact the Dyno tuner for a Wednesday Dyno and Apex Tuning. (I have to be in upper VA that day on business but my schedule leaves my afternoon open to get it done) OK, then I will post numbers..
Second, on June 25th is the East Coast Nationals at Maryland International Speedway in Budds Creek, Maryland (www.mirdrag.com) and I will do 3- 1/4 mile runs and post my best time. Sound OK!!!

My guess is with all the bolt on stuff we have available, including ECU reflash, light weight flywheel, which no one has yet, I bet we can get 320-330 hp and the flywheel. Also, since we have another 35 lbs we can lose with the headers, we can easily lose 150 lbs as well. That is some darn nice numbers! About 10lbs/hp.

DO that thing ^^^^^ and give em a run fo the money money money!!!
Sorry but I dont think the 350z clutch or flywheel will work on our cars without modifications. Ive also heard that a lightweight flywheel isnt very good for drag racing, its better used on a road course when u need to get the revs up high faster.

I cheer for any Max owner who can achieve speed and teach me what to do.
East Coast, West Coast, Japan, Australia and even Canada, it's all good if it helps each other succeed...
