How safe is it to keep resetting ECU?

Just a quick couple of questions from your Canuck cousin from Montreal.

1. How safe is it to keep resetting ECU?

2. How many times can you reset it...safely.

3. What should you watch out for?

I am talking about the pedal reset....

After installing your intake,.... drive your car normally for 30-60 miles to let things adjust... and if the SEL hasn't gone off then...

then if you have trouble w/ your ECU read theses....

Simpliest thing is just to unplug the battery for 10+ minutes...

when you reconnect the battery you'll need to reset the sun roof and seat memorys....

hope that helps.

GURLIE YOU ARE A REAL HOTTIE! I WENT TO YOUR CAR DOMAIN SITE AND I MUST SAY I WAS VERY IMPRESSED. I CAN SEE A LOT OF FRENCH INFLUENCE IN YOUR LOOKS AND THAT'S A GOOD THING. Being from Montreal, Quebec, I always wanted to visit Louisiana. I now have two reasons: a cool gal. I am interested in the emblem if you can still get them. I hope that one day we can visit each other. I think that you would fall in love with Montreal. I like that pin stripe..amazingly precise and quality workmanship.

I hope that we can compare upgrade notes too. I hope to talk to you soon!
And thanks for your reply to my question.

try to click on a link in this thread.

as far as "too many Stickies..." i thought my logic was simple... If you have a problem, the light comes on, or you need to reset your ecu... hence "Problems.... Sticky"

I thought i made it pretty cut and dry.... well as simply as a link DIRECTLY to ALL the info needed... so you wouldn't have to 'look through so many stickies'

LOL Up here in Quebec we say: Keep your mouse in it's house. And anyway, I was being honest...check out that pin stripe...very clean!

Gurlie...I am interested in the emblems. Send info by e-mail if you want.
