Maxima Trenz Grille and Emblem Questions

Hey Guys, I am about to buy a new Trenz polished grille with a cutout for the nissan emblem. I want to know, is the nissan logo emblem that is on our stock grille removable? I want to remove it and put it onto my new grille when I get it. How do you do this?

Also, I cant seem to find COMPLETE install instructions for a trenz grille. I looked in the stickys, and there is one instruction but it is not complete and it doesnt help at all. Can anyone post a link to the page (if there is one already) with install instructions?

The answer is yes, remove gently and you will need to re-apply with double stick molding tape. If it where me, I would just order one off Ebay for about 5-7 bucks. Someone may want to purchase your old grill...

Here's a link to where you can buy the emblem:

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...?siteid=214081

Do a search for part # 65890-5Z000. Should cost $13.88

The install is easy. Took me 15 minutes, 10 of which I spent chasing my 3yr old down to get the screws he took.

Hey, thanks for the info. I cant see a pic of that part number item. I want to see what color the emblem is. I need a gold one, my trim on my car is gold and I dont see two seperate item numbers for the emblem. Any idea?

What grille did you install on your car? Did it come with instructions?

Both are silver/chrome one (same part#), maybe you can paint it? I have the SS grille. I'm almost sure it came with directions, not 100% though. Once you have the grille in hand and look at the one on the car - you'll figure it out.

I got under the emblem on the stock grille with a very thin butten knife and went all the way around it until it was released. It is not that hard.
