Quick question about the HID Cutoff

I was at the dealer yesterday...and the mechanic ruined my left cutoff a little bit. Its not as sharp as the right projector.

Is there an easy way to fix it?
Should I go back to them so they'll fix it?

Is the left one a little shine a little lower than the right one at night? If so then it is supposed to be like that because when you are on the road and people are driving towards you, it's angled a little more to the ground so that you do not blind them. I just learned this myself a few weeks ago, and in Japan its the opposite!

yeah...that I know.

At night when I shine the lights at a wall, I see that the right one is sharp and the left one is a little bit more "smudged" in a way. Its not as sharp as the right one. The mechanic took the bulb out of the left one and messed it up a little. When I push the High beams it the same as the right one.

very weird.

Anyone can suggest something to fix it? or should I just let the dealer fix it.

Maybe the bulb is messed up?

I would take it back. If it is under warranty. If you do something wrong they will be happy to charge you for it. Those bulbs are a tad expensive.

A bulb has nothing to do with the cutoff, the projector makes the cutoff.

I'm nearly positive that when you turn your brights on that they should be at the same level, I honestly don't know how to explain it, but it kind of seems like common sense....

I agree with you on that. I was saying let them fix it if it's under warranty or not comfortable with doing it.

If you think it's the a problem with the beam. They do look like they have two different colors if you are coming head on. I always wondered why atleast I know now. If you think it's the aiming is not right that could be it. I just looked at mine and it does look like one is blue and the other looks white when you get closer in pasing they both looke the same. I hope the person who replced them didn't smudge them which could shorten the life of the bulbs possibly exploding.

The guy only took the bulb out and put it back in, I dont think it needs to do anything with the projector. Maybe the bulb is not sitting 100% back in its spot.

I am gonna call them tommarow morning and tell them about it
