Going to the dealer?

I've taken my car for two oil changes so far and the service department are jerks. I paid one nissan dealer to balance the wheels and they did but the car was handling different, not as tight in the corners and leaning way to much. I'm still learning this car and could not identify what was different. I went to discount tires and got a free tire rotation and whatever they did, the car handled better and is taking corners like I remember after purchasing the car. Did the dealer not torque the wheels right or is it the tire pressure? The dealer scratched all my rims when they balanced and rotated 3,000miles ago.

I purchased a set of tires from discount tires with my last car I traded for the Max, so I get free rotation and balancing on the Maxima. They also had to rebalance the front wheels again because the steering wheel was jumping around after 40mph.

Are the wheels going to need balancing everytime I rotate? And does proper wheel torque affect handling ?

Dude, you dont want to know what youv got there.... but it sounds like the dreaded "shimmy"..

My dealership opens the door and tells me to park near the Hunter Roadforce 9700 balancer whenever they see my car.

Good Luck Hombre.

I don't know how much you trust your dealer but here in new york I would not let them change my oil even if its free. Based on my experience I would only take it to them if its something major.
