my '06 has it too, right next to bluetooth mic, where the dome lights are at. It is pretty dim compared to the bmw ones though

If we are talking about the same thing, its a little mini orange light up by the front dome lights, by the moonroof switch. I am 99.9999% sure it's there. I remember putting my finger over it and blocking the light.

I just noticed that the 07 rear bumper has a crease above the back up sensors. I only noticed the unpainted portion above the exhaust until now. 04-06 rear bumper has no crease.

Smokin - Yep; the rear bumper of the '07 is quite different when we compare it with the '04-'06 side-by-side.

As to the new flat black strip above the exhausts on the '07 (obviously to help the car not look so bulbous from behind), I mentioned here a few weeks ago that, while wandering through my dealer's back lot looking at the '07s come in, there were eight '07 SLs that had not yet even had the shipping materials removed.

And what did I notice about those eight '07 SLs? Four had the new flat black strip at the bottom of the rear bumper, while the other four had that same '07 strip delineated, but it had been painted in the shiny same paint as the rest of the car.

The VINs of the eight were interleaved, and the option lists did not give me a clue as to what this means or why this situation exists. Strange.

Center armrest console on the '07 opens from front to rear. On the '06 (and before?), it opens left to right.
