Ok here's the deal i have an 06 maxima se 6 speed mt , i pay 324 a month and i gave 2000 down , and i have it already for 6 months. Yesterday this guy i know called me up saying listen if you want ill take over your lease.
i thought about it and told him im gonna see what other car i can get and tell you . So the 1st thing i did was , i went to an Infiniti dealership they had an 06 4 door g35 6mt , and an 07 g35s , 06 didnt feel like an upgrade to my maxima at all , the interior is smaller, the car is slower , not much of a looker either , i wasnt happy at all , then the 07 was off the hook , honestly i loved it. So the dealer and i sat down to do the math lol , he gave me 475 a month with a 1000 out of the pocket including the 1st payment for an 06 and same thing but 629 for an 07 ,The dealer was Russian so am i , lol so when i did my face like this ---> =\ he said listen i don't wana loose a customer ill give you a price of an 07 for the price of the 06 , and if your ready we can do it right now , so i left and i told him ill think about it . Today i washed my car lol and it looked so hot and it drove just so fast and im like damn im paying only 324 so dont know what to do , grrrr im going out of my mind and i just cant sleep lol if you guys can share with me your opinions i would really apriciate it , thanks =]

 

Just drive what you got, seriously, I know how you feel. In the end your car is practically new and you still love the look and feel of it...keep the extra $200 in your pocket per month, its not worth it for the infiniti.

I looked at the new G and after seeing the 335i coupe, the G is DEAD to me!! So Im going to pay this car off, sell it, and in a year or two go for something that is a huge change, unlike the G...which is better I admit, but not by a whole lot.

 

Just stay with what you have and be happy with it.

 

I would stick with the max.

 

It is very simple if you can afford the extra 200 per month and you really really like the g over the max then do it. But if the extra 200 is gonna stretch you the slightest bit keep your max. Besides it is just a G. Nice ride none the less but smaller than the max. Hell just wait till your lease is up.

 

sounds to me like u already made ur decision, keep the max dude, its NOT worth it.

 

It really comes done to which you'll be happier driving & what your budget is. If you're gonna be pushin' your budget, stick with the Max. If $$$ is not an issue, then go with whichever is more fun to drive and meets your needs.

BTW, it almost sounds like you're negotiating a monthly payment with the Infiniti dealer. Make sure you're negotiating the actual price of the vehicle. If you can get $1500 to $2000 off the G, that would be a good deal.

in the mean time, enjoy the max you have now.... save the 200.00 a month and put some rims on it...

 

I agree with everyone here, but the '07 G is hot.

 

If money is the main deciding factor then keep your max...otherwise, the new G is great. I took one for a ride about two weeks ago and it was amazing.

But like most have already said, it sounds like your happy with the max so you might as well keep the extra $$$ in your pocket....more to money to mod with

And machinist tanks Bro but they banned me from nycmaximas because they got some retarted rulles about street racing , because my car is surprisingly fast and every1's sayin its a factory freak i stand with 06 g35 coupes 6speed mt , bumper to bumper i know 2 of the guys who have them , and we did like 20000 runs lol they're very good on stick also , and yesterday i raced this guy i met on g35 4 door auto with downpipe, catbacks - STILLEn and a stillen intake and a pulley , we went from the roll i passed him liek by 2 cars , and then i've raced an auto maxima frm the 1st gear roll he has full exhaust from headers to da mufflers , pulley, fujita cai , and something else i 4 got i still took him by half a car , Lol so ye they banned me for stories like that .

 

Something tells me these same rules apply here.

Damn, I was afraid of that. I have a similar setup and I have a buddy that has an 03 6spd. He already said he consistently beats 5spd autos like mine but we haven't "run" yet.

 

Oh yeah, I would keep what you have. Even an 07 G35s ain't worth double monthly payment on a lease.

Buying it is a different story.
