Stereo and DVD installs....

Hey guys, when installing a new stereo or dvd system, do you lose your stearing wheel controls? Like volume and channel?

If so, is there a way to go around that so your controls still work with a new sound system?

PAC adapter is the only way to go. Just make sure you new radio is on the list of compatible head units. I picked one up on Ebay and unfortunately for me after getting it installed we realized it was not compatible with my radio. I may be re-installing my factory radio and going with a different PAC adapter that will give me an aux input and still maintain steering wheel controls.
