stinky air everywhere

alright yall, I had my Burk intake for some time (1/2 year) and now im getting smelly rotten egg smell from my exhausts ... took it to my dealer for inspection and teh guy said the intake is breaking my cats... they can break and get sucked into the engine?

WTF? is this guy serious or is he smoking? also any idea if i should just put my Stock intake in?

yea I call BS on that too but from what I understand its the gas that cannot be processed or burned by the engine gong through the cats and them not burning off the gas...

My worry is that im just waisting gas because of the cruddy air/gas ratio.

Yep, that happens to me on cold mornings too. If I drive enough to where the car/cats warm up completely then the smell is greatly reduced or eliminated.

yep i noticed that its usually happening when its around 30 degrees out side and im freezing my behind off.

the guy at the dealership was like...

you must take it off now since it will suck in the cones and then we cant get them out and you will need to buy a new engine... I was like huh? wtf are you talking about...

he said im sucking to much air in... i was like um... isnt that a good thing for power? he was like no man you going to suck the cone in... those cheap intakes the just suckin the cones... i was like um dude... thats a burk with Apexi filter... the cone filter will not get sucked in...

then he said something about the cats being broken... i was like i dont hear the meawing...
