I absolutely hate rattles. When I have the sunroof door open, I hear a rattling noise coming from that area when going over bumps and it is annoying the heck out of me. NO, the sunroof is not open. The noise is there only when the sunroof cover/door is open, as soon as I close it the noise goes away. Any ideas? Anyone have similar problem? Any fixes? Any way to figure out how to see exactly where this noise is coming from?

 

It's rattling against brace in the roof most likely. There is adjustment in the slider but you have to take down the headliner I think.

 

Is it a rattle or a creaking type noise when going over driveways, bumps at an angle?
I can hear a creaking noise coming from the area when the cover is open too. It only happens when I'm entering/exiting a driveway (usually at an angle). I don't think much of it though because my integra made the exact same creaking noise from the sunroof with the cover open under the same driving conditions.

 

I have a small rattling noise when I have the sunroof open in the tilted position. I can't say I've ever noticed my sunroof rattling when it is closed. I just turn up my radio and ignore the rattling. It's not very obnoxious so I just leave it alone.

 

Its definately a rattling noise when going over bumps. Anyone know how to take down the headliner? Is it a big job?

I have the same problem. Its a really annoying rattles, kind of high pitched.

 

My rattle is actually a low pitch one, sort of like a knocking noise. Anyone know how to fix it yet?
