There should be a few screws on the top and then some under the splash guards and I would guess that you'd be set.

Well, it's not a Corvette fender (it's about 1/3 of the car length!) so i'd assume it's pretty easy. I want to say that there are 3 screws on top and then there might be 2 that also hold the bumper on, and then more UNDER the splash guard.

why don't you just pop the hood and check it out for yourself?

well, just tear into it id say, look around alot in and out and under and around, take out some bolts, when it gets loose you should be able to tell which bolts need to come and and not, just trial and error it, seems like not many have done this.

Hey question!!! why dont you check out the fender you bought and see what holes belong to where.... I do know that to remove the fender you for sure have to remove the Head lights... to get to one screw... In order to get the lights out... you have to remove the bumper... So there fore you would have to pop your hood and manage all that........So long thing short... Remove Bumper , all 5 screws to remove light, then remove fender all three or so scewes on top and then one that is the held by light and then a couple by the spalsh guard...... Hope that helps... I hope its all correct... It was a while since i took mine off..

You can remove a fender without dropping the bumper or the lights... Just a handfull of screws and clips.

There really isnt anything to it. Once you remove a few of the top bolts, wiggle the fender. You'll find the rest. I pulled the wheel liner out before I started on mine. Good Luck...

Tks a million Kcmaxx. My neighbor backed into my right fender last fall. Estimates ranged from $650-$950. She gave me $1K. All shops said (and service manual too) bumper and headlight had to come off. Was hesitant but after seeing your picture/answer, its a go.

Fatsmax05, where did you get your fender? On Ebay, Unique Customs has them painted for $249 ($429 for OEM part).

"Bent?" More than likely if it's dented it can be. Unless it has a definite crease. Post pics of what you mean by bent...

Get this man a beer! I could not have said it better myself.

Probably the easiest first step in this process is to take off that wheel... This will give you more access, however there is a bolt to the side of the headlight which I know is difficult to get to without the bumper coming off...

but don't get frustrated when you think you'll get this done in 30 mins.

So we got a Merks... sweet... That dent can defenitely be taken off it has no crease at all ... It pretty much has to be popped out hopefully tho it doesnt crack the paint... that probably the biggest problem.. Merks paint is a bit more pricy.. but if thats cool then the dent should come out after a lil work on it..

I would try removing the wheel liner and see if you can pop it out any. If not call a dent removal shop. Most of them have suction tools to do it the right way.

But like someone said earlier... u run a good chance of cracking the paint... so dont be disapointed.

I've seen worse dents that were "pulled" "sucked" "poped" what have you.

Very do-able.

Yeah i see that... they should be able to popped it out the paint is for sure cracked ... You might be better off getting a new fender and repainting it then that area will be vonurable to bending easier.. thats just me tho... go get an astimate and see which is better off for you..

i am just going to take it off take it to a body shop, and see what they tell me. Anyone know if when painting the front end, a body shop takes the panels off to paint them or not? Since I was thinking of doing a conversion, and need the bumper repainted, now this fender, and a little bit of the hood to where I will cut it. So my question being does anyone know if a body shop paints panels with them on the car or not and, if they can match the paint from the fenders and hood to the bumper, rather than me bringing them the car.
