SSautochrome headers on a 6th gen??

NmexMax:
in stock form my man was 14.3 @ 3.2k rpms, by low I mean about that range.
for some reason with headers it set off a lean code for front bank (right side of engine) on some installs.

you can't just bolt things up to the motor and expect power, you are throwing off the A/F, and will need to add fuel to it so it runs how it should.

hopefully I can understand more when I install my headers sometime soon. we got rain all this week up here, but I won't put it off too long.
I also have the TS ecu, so I don't know how it will effect the outcome. I might not get that CEL, but who knows till I actually do it.
I know 14.3 isn't a whole lot of lean, but its doing something our ecu don't like.
we'll see.

Deus:
the SAFC will add more fuel to the spots that the TS ecu missed. it don't need a whole lot of tunning on mines, cause I have less mods, not sure about yours, but there are some spots on the rpm were I wished it was feeding more fuel to the engine.
even with the TS ecu, I will get a type of fuel management.

I would get another reflash if I lived near TS so they can do it right in their dyno.
I live on the other side of the country. when I did the test for the ecu it was such a pain in the azz mailing it back and forth and even they were kinda guessing even with dyno graphs.
if I get my own SAFC I can do the tuning myself, I already have the ecu where I want it, it just needs alittle tuning to make it that much better.
I think TS works alot with timing, they advanced mines alot, I don't think they can regulate how much fuel goes in at a certain rpm thats why I can use the SAFC.

Tek: What do u think is the best fuel management ot get? There are a few out there. Neo, SAFC, and others. I wish I were more informed about what is out there and how to tune. Any suggestions on websites regarding learning about how to do this?

I'm not sure how I'm going about the fuel management.
SAFC is the basic one, NEO has more of a tuning program.
if you are going to turbo in the future there's Greddy E-manage ultimate, this does it all, but is also worth the most at around 550 or so.
Ramberg is crazy, doing all those mods with nothing for fuel management. your ecu is probably going crazy trying to keep up lol.

well heres an update on my order....I ordered them on the 5th and emailed them a few times. First time i asked has my order been shipped. They responded with whats your shipping address. I told them. Then they said when did you pay? and that was the end of emails... the last email they sent me was on the 9th and i havent heard anything back from them. This is really bad because they dont even have a contact number. Just an email and a fax number. THis is starting to **** me off cause lack of communication. Only excuse i can think is maybe they are not working cause of passover? just had to VENT!!!

DO NOT buy the headers offered from SS Autochrome! I got them for my 98 Max and they sound like crap! Their site boasted about a gain of 30-35 ponies, but i barely noticed a difference at WOT. I can't decide if they sound like I have a hole in my exhaust or a poorly tuned muscle car!

Also, I'm guessing you haven't seen the associated dyno to these on an A34? http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=525075
Although real runfiles would be nice to see though.
