Looks good. I would drop the front only at first. Not sure if I would pick a black tint for the windows but you are on the right track. Welcome.

Word of advise, You might not want to show your license plate for the whole world to see. It's ok though, I dont think anyone will be stealing that car....

This might be the first time I've ever agreed with you...Ballers ride Land Rovers and S__t of that Nature but, I do disagree with you on one thing and you prolly didn't even know this but rich people dont drive Escalades, iHell I'm willing to bet if I did a little research I would probably find that the Median income for Escalade owners is lower than the income of people who buy Yukon Denalis. Escalade is the ghetto fabulous Luxury SUV.(Gaudy and not classy at all).

I just look at the Maxima as a Japanese alternative to the 300s, Magnums and Chargers when it comes down to the Bling factor.

It's so funny how people assume what you are, or what you aren't, and what you are doing, or not doing by the type of car you drive. The word and meaning BALLIN', is not solely based on what type of car you're driving. It's a lifestyle, and attribute to the lifestyle you are living. And in my case, the "dash-life"! Just because I drive a Maxima, and not a Benz, doesn't mean I'm not BALLIN'. It just means this is the car I choose to buy (test drove a Magnum and a Jag, fell in love with the Max). I have friends who have Benz & Beemers, but still live in the projects. Does that mean since they have a Benz and or Beemer they are BALLIN'? NO! That just means they spent a hell of a lot of money on a car for its perception, and who don't think outside of the box in-which they are living. Me personally, I enjoy owning my own home that's paid for. I enjoy owning my own business. I enjoy having 3 cars and 1 bike. I enjoy having 3 accounts. I enjoy having the freedom to do, live and buy what I want, when I want it. I'm not rich, but I enjoy living life based on the way I want to live it, and not how people assume or think I should live. Oh, and did I mensiton, I'm only 29yrs. To me, that's BALLIN'.

Assumptions are the mother of all "F"-ups.

Life is: 99%-perception, and 1%-real, which side do you live on?

Thank you!

If you like it then that's all that matters. Not my taste but I see alot of people put rims like that on all types of cars and I respect that. With the new 300 and Dodge Magnum, people have gone chrome crazy around here. I'm guilty of the grille but I think the smoke color tones it down a bit and left chrome wheels alone. I think this is why the 6th gen does not have a better performance aftermarket. Most people go put on 22's,tint and call it a day.

I think everyone's talking about baller a$$ rides. They could be living out of their car for all we know. But yeah "Buy what you want when you want"......and that's how your maxima looks? or is what you want cheap chrome rims?

Wow! Ignorance is bliss. $300+ per. wheel w/o tires is not cheap. It's adverage. Cheap is a set of BSA wheels form off of eBay. You can get a set of those in 20s w/tires for like $500.00 or something to that effect. That's cheap! But I did steal these wheels w/tires from off of craigslist. Bought them used in like new condition, for less than 1/2 their retail price with tires. That's called shopping around, and letting your $$$ talk for you/being smart.

Thx!

I could care less what they retail for or what you paid for them. I'm saying they look like cheap chrome rims (which they are) and makes your max look like a cheap ghetto a$$ maxima (which it is). *I bet that dude that sold them to you praised the Lord he found someone who would actually buy them - And what, he had to lose more than half his investment to get rid of them*

I aint sayin my rims are expensive but $300 per wheel are cheap. I think the problem everybody is having with you is that you're carrying yourself like you're some kind of baller and your S#!t dont stink. If you really were a baller you'd put some Asantis or some HREs on it, but Driv Donz, hell half the Alabama pimpmobiles out here have those. Like I said they are alright, just not baller.

Man, this 2-DIE-4 dude is an annoying one, huh?

2-DIE-4, let's play Doc Phil here for a second, okay?
The problem that I see you having with the forum is you bought wheels for your car that only one, maybe two people (actually, no. Two people are too many. Make that 1 1/2 people) out of ten liked! And that has you upset. I understand your position (well, not really, but I'll pretend as if I do). Anyways, If I had your wheels on my car, I would feel terrible as well. After all, we ALL know they just look obscenely ugly and have no style. But listen, I am here to support you and to tell you - do not let anyone's comment bring you down. Keep STRONG!

Now, since we are in the subject of wheel prices. Allow me to say this. Prior to owning BSAs, I had these wheels: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/pts/322482748.html -- Back in 2004 were they expensive by most standards? Sure. Around $2,000 wheels alone expensive! But you know what. Once I had them on, they looked good, but not exceptional, or eye catching as I expected.

Then one day I saw BSAs on another Maxima and said to myself: "Holly smokes, those wheels are hot and I want them, now!". A few days later the BSAs (or, as you called them, Bull S*** A** wheels) were delivered to my door. Were the BSAs cheaper than the MRRs? Sure. But by only $700 cheaper. And you wanna know something funny? I've gotten waaaayyyy more compliments out of the BSAs (worth about $1,300 in 2005) than the MRRs (worth $2,000 at the time)!! Ain't that funny!

Yes, you can go ahead and pay 2, 3, 4, 5 thousand dollars for wheels, but what good will it do if they are ugly or don't match the car? Like in your case, 2-DIE-4.

Peace!

Dude, I don't know why some of these guys are being so hard on you. I personally don't care too much for your wheels either but what matters is what YOU like. And that's it. I have chrome door handles too and I have taken some heat for them, but then again some people like them. I might take them off, maybe not. My wheels.....I dunno....I like them. Some may not. I dont care that much really. If you dont like it........dont look at it.

You must, however, IMMEDIATLY rip those chrome pillars off. Please.

I agree. Also have the chrome door handles too only because Smoke looks black most of the time and I think the door handles brings out the color more. I know everyone doesn't like them and I don't care.

We should at least be respectful to other 6th gen members here. If you don't like it then don't comment. Some people will say things on forums that they would never say out loud on the street.

California does it too, but do I have a plate? Hell no!

I've got my windows tinted all the way around at 20% as well

Legal? No. Do I care? No.

When I was still home in NJ I never ran a front plate except to go to inspection. Never got stopped for it - maybe just lucky.

Personally I think his car looks fine. I have cheap chrome rims so please ask me if I care...anyone??? All that matters is that I am pretty happy with them. And for 2-DIE-4: Since you asked on what people think about your max; I think its a great way to start. I personally am not a fan of the chrome pillars because they dont cover that back piece of plastic on the rear windows (the full kit). So I stuck with the chrome handles and chrome side molding. Just adding rims on a Max makes such a difference. But I too would lower her and it would look really nice. Lowering was actualy my first mod. Holla.

LOL Funny you mention about the front plate. I got stopped yesterday for that and my window tint. But I just recently got out the service so the cop let me go. lololol Yeah the front bumper on a max looks really clean without the license plate on it.
