Yeah just buy the paint, I would've painted mine my elf but at the time didn't have the tools/space. I just had the guys that installed my brakes do it, they didn't even charge me, it's really easy. I'm sure someone would charge you an arm and a leg if you let them....

What Deus said...

http://duplicolor.com/products/caliper.html

I used it on my Prelude's calipers about two years ago and they still look good...

Before...

After...

I found the kit at Walmart. AutoZone and other auto stores should carry too.

I painted my brake calipers.. I used VHT Brake caliper paint in a spray paint form. I gotta say, taping off the brake caliper and then grinding the corrosion off was a pain in the *** and time consuming, but I was satisfied in the end. The red VHT caliper paint looks red in sunlight and sort of orange when your parked indoors. Hope this helps..

I'd like to get the calipers that say 'NISSAN', like Chernmax. Those are nice!!!

Also, SER Max, where did you get that grille? I want one just like it!

You can also use the folia tec brush on kit. It comes with high temp paint and separate hardening lacquer that you have to combine then brush on. I did it when i had my 5th gen but i put two coats and then followed up with a nice coat of high temp clear. Makes it easier to clean and brake dust doesnt stick as easily and keeps them shiney much longer with no color fade. Downside....its not 15$. aprox $50-60.

Painted calipers make a huge difference in the appearance of your wheels, Alloy, gunmetal, brush aluminum and especially chrome. I used a brush kit @ first then touch them up for a real high temp spray, to bring out the awesome gloss. The G2 brush kit is really good or you could try the Metal cast from any auto parts store.

I believe a lot of guys on this post did a D.I.Y caliper painting project, including myself, it's really easy. If you want a professional finish, remove all the components that you want painted and spray them separate from the car or wheel well. But I've seen guys just mask off the areas that they don't want painted an use a really good O.T.C High Temp. Spray paint, an the outcome is excellent. My calipers have been painted a little over a month now, an the paint/gloss coat is like new.
