Nice I always like to analyze the slips. Pretty good times for n/a, have you ran it with spray before?

No I never ran the track with spray, only used it once on a dyno. I have to wait till next year when the track reopens. I still have to get a jacket.

I don't know about other tracks but you need it in Englishtown.

hey everyone, im new to the maxima community, about a month ago just recently puchased a 2004 dark blue, fully loaded 3.5 se... absolutely love the car.... look it to the track just today, completely bone stock, spare, jack, everything still in the car... i do however have one aftermarket piece and thats the aftermarket front grille ( its not a civic, so no, my grille doesnt add horse power to my car) but i was wondering what are some stock times for a 5AT? I ran a few 14.9's, but that was the best i could get... ill take a pic of my car today, so i can add some stuff to my profile and ill scan a couple of my time slips for you all to look at... about a week ago i just purchased a fujita intake, from what i heard, its well worth the money, and soon ill be getting an UDP, i think those 2 mods go hand in hand, 1 assists lower end power while the other assists power in the higher rpms... anyways if youd recommend a certain brand of UDP let me know i was just going to go for a unorthodox or stillen.... once again ill post my slips and a couple pics asap

Hey at least it was topic related. 14.9 is pretty good for bone stock. Either pully would be good. I have the UR stock size lightweight pulley.

I just have to find someone my size who has a fire proof jack I could borrow. You can't run juice if you don't have one.
Just have someone bring in the bottle in another car, then put it in after the tech inspection. Works like a champ at my track.

Also, you should be faster than a 14.7.

I wil seel what the car does at Maxus09. You can't pull that at the track I go to plus I want to be safe as possible.

altitude and air temp is also a huge factor. I usually run when it's cool or somewhat cold outside. Can't do that here in Hawaii. I also turn my heater on full blast. The fan is normally running anyway figure take some of that heat off the engine. I usually run 14.8/9 I have a 5 speed and allways crank my music which comprises of 2 twelves. I don't believe in taking seats and speakers out to get better times. I mean if you are cruising with it, you should run with it.

Why not? Do they look at your car again after you go through tech?

no but if something happens and they find out you did the install without having an inspection before racing they can ban you from the track alltogether. Not worth it. Just get a flame retarded suit

Then you say, "My bad, I accidentally put the bottle in and hit the arming switch, I swear I didn't mean too."

Checked out your time slips and you ran a 9.2 in the 1/8th. I ran a 9.0 with just an intake and a block off plate (stock exhaust).

something doesn't seem right here. I ran a 14.725 with a 5 speed auto while in D or auto, and was stock. Could a cold air intake and exhaust really get you those numbers?

What does a block off plate actually do for you?

From what I have seen your time will be slightly higher because of the auto. Although an intake and exhaust will be a great benefit for sure.

It deletes the VIAS in the intake manifold and therefore gives more plenum volume. You lose some low end, but gain top end. If anything it helps you get out of the hole better lol.
