Im thinking about stage one as my car is stock and I leaning towards moderation for engine life. Im seriously concidering this. Canadian dollar is above par US so its a great deal at 4600 bucks. I might be living in my car after this so I will need some "forgiveness" ... and its freaking cold here in Canada come a month or two

The AEM Electronic Tru-boost gauge I'm getting is a 1 button control that lets you dial down the boost for everyday driving and with the push of 1 button, dial it up for the track. I added this upgrade to my SFR Turbo kit just for that reason, the original kit had a manual boost controller....

Im ok with the install if its a full kit that doesnt require customizing. Im not an auto mechanic but I am a millwright (industrial mechanic). Is this kit complete without tuning? Because thats the only extra expenditure that I can see.

It will need a shop to do some custom fabbing and welding of the piping, other than that SFR says everything else is bolt-up including the inter-cooler. The battery will also need to be trunk mounted (they provide the kit). Also depending on the stage you purchase, SFR does state the computers are pre-programmed to achieve their posted dyno results. I still plan on taking it in for fine tweaking to ensure it's properly tuned to my ride and unique mods...

Thank G-d I dont have a wife to deal with any more, jeeeeezuz!!!! Hey Chern, any thought to getting a lightweight battery for the trunk since you have to mess around with it?

How much fab work is required. Im gonna do my own install when I can get this. Im still recovering from my latest expenditures!

SRF sent me a bunch of prefab bent piping but it still needs to be welded together, as for the battery, my car keeps getting lighter and the Optima Red Top I have isn't all that heavy, I'm a big Optima fan so as of now I'm going to stick with it.

LOL and after 23+ years with my wife, it's cheaper to keep her!!!

Interesting. Hey guys, I was telling my girlfriend about some of my upgrades the other night. She said when (I'm thinking IF) we got married, I wouldn't be allowed to spend anymore money on my maxima. She said (and I quote) it's a sedan, NOT a sports car.

Should I just go ahead and ditch her and get this overwith?

I don't have an issue with modding with my girl...

I control most of the money, for the most part. She wants kids in the next 5 years, I told her then the back seats are coming out of my car...she didn't take to kindly to that comment

LMAO. I been with my wife for 27 years and I am still modding. She busts my ***** at times but she knows that this is my hobby since I retired. She also says its only a car. What ever she needs she gets.
