New Bumper Design

Hey guys I hate to beat a dead horse but I have been designing a new bumper for our cars on the other .org because the thread is very much alive and they have someone ready to build it if they can get at least 10 people to commit. Any how this is my latest design, let me know what you think.

I really don't want anything that lowers the car down. If I let my wife drive it, I don't want to have to worry about her snapping it off...

2nd one looks much better, 1st one is hideous. She must have at least 1 year plow experience.

I don't like the front lip look, think they look too ricer-ish. I want something like the bumpers on the Audis...

First one looks much better, if you can remove some of the slant and make it not so low. Fogs are too big in second one and look out of place.

I'm not a fan of fiberglass and whole bumper kits. If you could get something going on a Clean Looking poly urathane front lip IM IN!

The lip portion of pic #2 would be a good start for a poly lip kit.

I'd rather someone make a front lip spoiler like the ones they make for G35's and 350Z's. I think lip spoilers sell alot better than full bumpers. If you made a nice lip spoiler I would definately be first in line to get one. The only thing out there right now is the Stillen lip which in my opinion doesn't look right(no offense to the guys on here that have that lip).

are you working alone on this bumper joe or is gec (kenny) helping with the production and in all seriousness if you were to get your 10 orders tomorrow... how long would the delay be before the bumper is actually produced and able to be shipped....?

1st pic is too slanted atleast to work on it puttin it more straighter down.. 2nd much better work.. and the g35 front bumper is sick.. i like it alot.. i somewhat agree if there can be a front bumper for the cruisers not for them to look racing type.

A lower lip that covers up most of the wide OEM lower grill like the Stillen lip but one that doesn't partially cover the round sidemarker lights and one that is not so aggressive. Subtle agressiveness like on the G pictured above, and it would defintely need to be poly. Also so it can house traditional small fogs like these nearer to the license plate bracket. (not to include the chrome surround but just the light itself.)

that 2nd one is nice, but im a lip kit guy like most of us. it would be nice if there was a lip kit made, that separates from Infiniti itself, nothing like it. and get rid of the bucktooth

EXACTLY I'm cool with the Stillen lip except for the fact that the sides stick out to far. That's the part that doesn't match the look of the car at all.

I actually wanted to start a "lets get together and get a lip spoiler built" thread but I haven't been a member of this .org long enought and don't have enough posts yet.

Like I said. If we can get a nice lip spoiler (that fits the look of the car)made I'll definately buy it. I'm ready. Let's do it!

#1 is reminiscent of a Cow Catcher on a antique train from the 1800's.

"In railroading, the pilot is the device mounted at the front of a locomotive to deflect obstacles from the track that might otherwise derail the train. Archaically this was called a cowcatcher, and this is still the common layman's usage, but this term is deprecated and has not been used by railroad workers for more than a century."

I so want to buy a lip but I haven't been sold on anything yet. This design is the best so far though. The 1st is to dramatic of an angle IMHO. I like the 2nd but it's more of a front on shot. I just want something that doesn't look so "bolt on" like the Stillen and not as dramatic as the sarona. Something in the middle. The other thing I don't want are the corner lights which is why I haven't bought the Stillen kit yet. Keep at it. I REALLY want a new front.. especially since someone hit me in the corner.

I like it but I think it needs to be one solid arch on the bottom lip. It still seems rather 1800's railroady to me but it's getting there.

I like it better and I like how you incorporated the housing for the smaller fogs. Soften the center point on lower lip to match the flow of the bumper and you should be good.
