Very nice! Check for boost leaks with the RTV. If you plan on running 10+psi, you might have to use paper gaskets. I haven't tested the RTV on the spacers at anything higher than 8psi. They were holding up to a pressurized manifold, but I think I started to hear a very quiet hiss sound at 8psi. It could have been from a broken hose I haven't found yet or it could have been leaking out through the RTV.BTW, I don't have a turbo. I just removed the MAF and stuck a 3" round plug in the intake coupling. Then in that plug is a check valve that allows you to pump in air to the intake manifold from an air compressor. At 6spi, it would hold just fine without any leaks. But at 8psi, I heard a tiny hiss. It was so quiet I couldn't tell where it was coming from. I was just checking for normal vacuum leaks myself. But it's a great method to check for boost leaks!

the Right Stuff® Gasket Maker
With cars in service longer and more new models arriving every year, gasket replacement has brought its share of headaches to today's automotive technician. Older parts no longer match, new and difficult-to-seal surfaces are more common and locating the right replacement gasket is a chore...
Permatex®, the first name in sealing engines, presents the Right Stuff Gasket Maker - a new solution for these frustrating situations. The Right Stuff instantly makes gaskets that are more reliable and longer lasting than cut gaskets, and at a fraction of the cost.
This elastomeric rubber technology is blowout resistant and outperforms pre-cut gaskets. It also protects against leaks caused by vibration and thermal expansion. The Right Stuff is OEM specified and proven effective in millions of miles of fleet testing. Resistant to ATF, coolant, oil and other shop fluids, it is sensor-safe and operates in environments with temperature ranges from -75°F to 450°F (-59°C to 232°C) continuous, 500°F (260°C) intermittent.
the Right Stuff® for Imports Gasket Maker
The Right Stuff for Imports Gasket Maker was specifically designed to perform under the higher torque loads caused by engines with closely spaced bolt patterns (typically import vehicles, particularly Japanese). It is is blowout resistant, allowing leakproof gaskets to be made and put into service in just one minute. Sensor-safe, this product seals instantly, forming a reliable, long lasting elastomeric rubber gasket that outperforms precut gaskets. OEM specified by Honda, Nissan and Mazda. This product is resistant to powertrain fluids (oil, coolant, and ATF) and operates in environments to 450°F (232°C) continuous; 500°F (260°C) intermittent.
Thank you. That's some good stuff. Once I get a chance to test it out, I may start recommending that to all my customers.
Chris...make sure that nothing like this happens...

Update 11/5/2007
OK, as far as the Turbo install everything is pretty much done, couple of the hick ups include:
- The cable for the trunk mounted battery relocation was about a foot short and we had to lengthen it. Complete!
- The braided oil feed line to the turbo has an adapter that was to short to connect so we purchased an adapter that makes it about an inch longer and now the oil feed line was able to connect right up. Complete!

- Last hick up and I'm pretty pissed about it is the shipment of the electronic boost gauge and wide ban monitor. It was suppose to be here last Friday, nothing, then checked today when I got home and nothing again. I contacted SFR and the dumba$$ who was suppose to ship parts out last week shipped everything but left my gauges in the stock room (at least that's what I was told today), SFR did provide me today with a DHL tracking number for overnight delivery but I'm still pissed because this car would have been done tomorrow, now Wednesday.
On todays progress the turbo has been reinstalled, all heat wrapping is complete and I even braided the turbo oil drain return line...

Oh and I also got the IM intake pipe back who custom fabricated a new MAF sensor mounting bracket, those who may have missed it, the one received from SFR had a mounting bracket for an 02 Altima (The original vehicle used as the turbo test car) but the MAX has a different MAF so we couldn't install it and had no choice but mod it.

The FTC paperwork is at the shop, I'll post the 411 tomorrow. As for the fuel pump, not at this time but I won't discount it...
