agreed, it's not somethin' i'm interested in but i'd like to share my opinion - if you guys really wanna do it then go OEM or Scooped, please don't do the vents - that's gonna spoil the look of our cars, that's my opinion.

seriously, the vents one look ricey...please don't do it.

ok, i just read this thread, mack - aight, i do see most people liking vents - that's cool, like i said to each his own, i personally wouldn't do a CF hood but if i were to do it, i'd do oem, i wouldn't be into vents. i like my car clean, nice rims, a drop, performance/handling, tints, debadged - i wouldn't go crazy. so far, w/e i have done to my car, everyone loves it. anyway, good luck to you guys - i'd surely want to see pictures

Ok guys, the Creative Auto Online guys said it will be $150 deposit for the vented hood and $125 dep for the OEM CF style hood. I'm also asking to see if they can do the vented which I'm assuming they will be able to, in order to keep everyone happy. Bear in mind there will need to be at least 10 to 15 people WILLING to pony up the deposit in order to make this happen so lets be serious here guys. FYI here is their online store in case you want to take a look. I really want to make this happen for us 6th genners.

Are they willing to do both the vented for $150 deposit & OEM for $125 deposit and you will check if they will do the Scoop one??

Sorry got a lil confused.

I have the $150 for the deposit of the vented one!!

I am still waiting to hear back from bodykits.org

Good work Mack!!

The scoop IMO looks incredible. The vents are a bit much i think, the scoop keeps it looking sleek and BADDDDD!!!

Majestic, I'm waiting a final answer but I assume the Vented & Scooped will be similar pricing & deposit. I'll keep you all posted. Obviously there is more interest in the vented model which I myself prefer but it seems a lot of you peeps are outspoken about the scooped as well and again, as long as there are at least 10 to 15 peeps who want each model then we can ALL be happy as these guys appear to be interested. Anyways, keep the feedback coming, keep this thread alive and I'll keep everyone posted.

im definately thinking the vented looks better. like a couple people said, scoop looks cheap. and enless its functional, screw a scoop. but it depends on your wheels too. or your kit. vented may look funny if other body styles dont match it... imo...

Between the two.....I like the scoop. I would prefer vents though. Those particular vents are too much for me. We don't have 300's but we don't have Civics either. Modding IMO has to maintain the class of the vehicle. It's also got to be functional either way you go. The engine and intakes get hot. I agree with Xoomer, some fine vents along the sides, that follow the lines of the hood. It's probably not for me either way because I'm just not sure of the CF on the lighter color car.

Unless they can do the CF in colors. Silver CF would look great on silver Max

IMO, black goes with any color... but maybe not the gold color...
Apollos2 you have the dark tint to match it up. you should get a CF hood and trunk, and paint your roof gloss black =) P I M P as hell

Yeah PIMP! It may match my tint, didn't think of that.

Dues, I think yours is one of the few cars that vented hood would look good on. It kinda goes with your theme. I've never seen silver CF. I just know it would help my Fujita stay cool at the track if there was more ventilation, scoop or otherwise on the hood.

Guys, I haven't forgotten you on this, obviously I've been busy with other troubles such as my car possibly being totaled. But in the interest of keeping the 6th gens looking good I'll keep up on this just give me another day or two. More to follow!

Yea but... not really...
You cant pressure wash your car... and when it peels then you have to take the whole thing off and it'll leave stickie stuff on your paint... And the sun is gonna be harsh on the overlay especially when its right on the roof...
But I'm sure batmobile's stuff is high qual so probably no sticky stuff...

No doubt Chern! Man I'd MUCH rather be in your shoes than mine right now LOL but yeah, you definitely have had, and still have your work cut out for you bro. Continue to lead the way and the rest will follow man.
--
On another note. I'm looking for someone to takeover communications with the Creative Auto Design guys as with my recent accident my heart just isn't in this right now but I definitely want to make sure some 6th gen CF hood action hits the scene. Majestic, I got your PM and going to respond to get some contact info over to you to keep this going.

With my ride most likely being considered "totaled" in the next day or two I'm still torn as to whether to pickup another 6th gen or just get something mundane and join the rest of the zombie drivers out there with lackluster rides. I just feel a part of me has been ripped out and stomped on. O'well I'll cry more later but for now I'll get with Majestic to see if he can keep this going with the CAD guys. More soon!!

Okay guys sorry for the delay on this.

I got in touch to Creative Auto thanks to Mack. I was told that we need the min of 10 deposits to get production started on the Vented hood.
The sooner we can get the deposits in the sooner production will start.
Production will have a 3 month turn around time.

Im waiting for them to give me the info for us to call in and give the deposit.

Also, if we want to get the OEM hood or Scoop Hood made we would need a min of 10 deposits for EACH to get them done.
