I think the scoop one looks damn sexy on a 6th gen. Hopefully they can lower the price so I can see some 6th gens running around with those.

Agreed. Majestic, hats off to ya for keeping this going and trying to keep these finicky peeps happy. My honest opinion? These hoods look INCREDIBLE. Again, you guys have a chance here to step up and do something that has not yet been done for the 6th gen, yet you bicker about trivial $hit. Everyone seemed "on board" for the first page or two then everyone gets cold feet? WTF is up with that? Maybe the Deuce is right about 6th genners. Nah I don't believe it as you guys are modding ****** but c'mon seriously, just 10 of you is all it will take to make this happen, then all you lazy pos's that sat on the sidelines will be very jealous I'm sure. MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!

The only way this will work is if a few members from the boards as in 2-3 good friends..purchase 10, and then resell them..Huge risk I know, but other then that you're not going to get a list..Everyone just hates waiting and putting there name on a list, but the second they see it available and ready to ship the next day they'll all jump on it.

that would be correct.

you like it you buy it, you don't like it you don't buy it. How can you like something that doesn't even exist. The stuff comes out and I am sure plenty of people will be interested. If I like the vents you get money paypalled immediately. If I don't like it I move on.

Judging by the pictures just listed it looks like the quality is great but I hate to buy proverbial "cat in the bag"

As chern said, the company should just make it and sell it. I am more then sure they will go. Plenty of 5th gens have them on at the local meets so I am sure 6th gens will be getting them too. Years ago when I joined this forum there were like 3 mods for this car. Today there is a ton and a half. If this company is not willing to step up, somebody else will to reap the benefits.

It takes risk to win big. You don't risk, you don't win. On the good side the risk here is minimal because there is so much interest and this is only one board. People are still interested, they just don't want to send money in for product that is non-existent. Take Brian from Catman, he is willing to invest because he knows the product will sell. This company looks like an established business judging by number of different hoods made, is someone trying to tell me that they don't have the money to make it happen so they rely on our deposits?

I am old school I like stock I own a very rare 3rd gen fiber image(stock) hood retails for $800 if you can find one? The old hood was about 70 to 80lbs the fiber maybe 10 to 20lbs tops great inprovement gas mileage and (0-60) time of course top end is nasty now but I have alot of mods on the car.

Why not just make a new thread, and everyone who is INTERESTED in a carbon fiber hood puts the name down..Then we send that thread to a company, and tell them look we have almost 200 people willing to buy hoods, make something you'll get your money back asap..

Only problem with that is that only two to three people from that thread will be "really" willing to buy just like this thread.

Last, if this company truly believes it can make a quality hood that it can sell, make 10 and see how fast they fly off the self. Between the Org, 6thGenmaximas and NYCMaximas not to mention other Max sites, they will have ZERO loss because these hoods will sell...
i agree 100% with you chris. majestic max plz just quote this and send it to bodykits.org.

So what is the weight of the stock hood vs the CF hood. As I said before, I am not in (heck I still need a Y-pipe and a new head unit) but it's an interesting thread.

Ok, you guys DO REALIZE the only one's your hurting is yourselves by being hard headed right? This company doesn't need to sell 10 or 15 hoods to 6th genners in order to make profits, they have ASSLOADS of other cars they are already selling hoods for, 350z's etc. that will sell infinitely more hoods than they EVER would for a handful of 6th gens. For the life of me I can't figure out why there was so much interest to vote here then when it's time to step up to the plate you guys break like a bunch of schoolgirls when the bell rings.

Again, I'll state that Majestic and I stepped up to help our fellow 6th gen modders out in order to have something different and let our cars stand out. If you guys want to continue to nitpick on every little item so be it but I think you'll be passing up on something pretty damn cool here. It's a reputable company, we have been working with their folks for weeks now, they will take good care of us so put your name on the list already and be ready to pony up the small deposit in a month or so in order to get an exclusive item for your 6th gen.

In some ways yes, but I bought a proven tested kit sold through Speed Force Racing, they didn't need a down payment to develop it!!!
