ok kinda hard to explain. i dont know if this sound is progressivly getting louder or if its just me. at idle...i hear a noise not loud that stops when i press in the clutch. the noise gets higher pitched as speed increases and if im driving..with clutch in and whatever gear im in the noise is higher pitched as i get to a lower gear. go to 1st while moving it makes a wheeeeeeeeee sound , goto second same sound but lower pitched , 3rd lower pitched etc etc. not very loud but noticable if the car is quiet. thinking its the synchros...can they be getting worn and getting louder?
