High pressure wash made my car turn off...

...a couple of days ago I was coming home from school, and a semi-truck sitting next to me at a stop light had diesel leaking/spraying everywhere from under his motor, which my entire right side got sprayed with

K, so I didn't have time to actually hand wash my car at work, so I took it to a Jewel "high-pressure"/touch-less wash. The thing shoots hard as a **** and I had my car turned on the whole time, until the car just shut off by itself I was like and just laughed and turned it back on.

When I got out, I opened the hood and a good amount of the bay was "wet," and the radiator was smoking noticeably. I am going to assume that the Fujita sucked it some water and it stalled?

Either way...is this something I should worry about, or is it all good now? I drove the car for about 30ish miles, and had no problems...knock on wood

If you really are worried about it alot, change the oil and see if the oil has water in it and then flush a quart of oil through and then all should be fine.

The Fujita would have to be immersed to draw water.

Perhaps an electrical wire was 'hit'. It may have shorted out or gotten tempermental until it dried.

Cars at idle do not take a lot to stall out, a high pressure wash could have suffocated your car and made it turn off

That's very likely. I see people pressure washing their engine bays and then the car runs like crap. I usually tell them to let things dry and see if the problem goes away. It usually does.

!PrjctMax!, if the car is running ok now, I wouldn't worry about a thing.
