Condensation after HID kit Install

Condensation after HID kit Install

Ok so i took my car to a body shop to have my HID conversion kit put on lights work great now i noticed i'm getting Condensation in side my headlight
it's a small patch but it's there i don't recall that happening do i need to pull my bumper to resolve this or will it go away or should i bring it back to the body shop about something so small

umm did they use a rubber gasket/bushing for the wires coming to/from the bulbs? my hid kit came with a 1/2 bushing (had to drill a 1/2 hole on the outside of the back projector covers) I havent had any condensation. Sounds like they didnt seal it back up.

probably didnt seal it fully. go back to the shop and tell them theres condensation they should fix it for you.

Take it back and have them re seal it or put a bigger one on.

They may have applied the seals but cut the hole too large. Silicon sealant may have to be employed.

OK this now makes a total of 15 different members I know or have read about that has gotten condensation after an HID upgrade...

they probably rushed the install. i made the halogen to HID swap back in april and have no issues with condensation in the headlights. just take it back to the shop and let them deal with it.
